Coming to Christ at an early age, Rob felt the call of the Lord as a youth. He surrendered to the ministry during his senior year in High School. Rob received his Bachelor’s degree in music from East Texas Baptist University in May of 1980. He has served nine churches in Texas since that time. In June of 2003 Rob, along with his wife Bev, and some dear friends Bob Shirley as Co-Pastor/Youth Pastor, Tracy and Nathan Gray as Children’s Pastors , Abigail Corona as Preschool Pastor, Janice Mattix as our Nursery Pastor and Nancy Nichols as Music Associate began River Pointe Church. It is Rob’s vision that RPC passionately pursue the Lord Jesus Christ in all things and that through that passion for the Lord, we make a massive, eternal impact for Christ in our region of Houston and beyond.
